The finish line at High Ct.
Fast, flat and straight as can be! introducing the Carnation Mile. This race, which benefits Jefferson Center, will be held on the Carnation Festival Parade route on 38th Ave from near Depew St. to High Ct. Come out and run your fastest mile!

Adults (19 and older) $20 registration through July 31. $25 registration from Aug. 1-12.
Youth (ages 6-18) $15
Child (5 years and under) Free
Adult and youth registrations received before Aug. 1 will receive a race shirt.
Waves of up to 25 runners will start every 5 minutes beginning at 8:00 a.m., with the last wave taking off at 8:45 a.m. The first wave will be reserved for runners anticipating times of 5:30 or less, and the second wave will be reserved for runners anticipating times of 6:00 or less.
The last waves will be reserved for runners with dogs and for families and strollers. If you have both a dog and a stroller you will be assigned to the family wave.
If your company or workout group would like to compete together in your own wave we can try to accommodate that. Contact Michelle@rightstartevents for details.
**Once you have been assigned to a wave you will not be able to change it**
Race packets can be picked up on race morning from 7:00 to 7:45 near the start line at 38th & Chase St.
Parking is available on many of the streets along 38th Ave. Please remember that the start and finish are one mile apart and there is no transportation between the two. So plan to walk to your car after the race.
The start line will be on 38th Avenue between Depew St. and Chase St. Our friends at SPENGA Wheat Ridge will help get the runners warmed up in the SPENGA warm-up zone.
The Wheat Ridge Grange board will be serving a pancake breakfast for a suggested $7 donation at the grange from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The Grange is located by the Carnation Mile finish line on High Ct. For more information on the festivities go to thecarnationfestival.com.
The course is a straight line from between Depew St. and Chase St. to High Ct.
The Carnation Mile is chip timed by Finish Line Timing.
The top 3 male and female runners in the Open and Masters (over 40) divisions will receive cash prizes of $75, $50 and $25 repectively.
The top male and female high school runner will receive Goodr sunglasses.
